  •

  • Jordan Carlisle has proudly served on the Lamar County School Board for the past three years. With a son currently attending LCS and a wife who is an alumna, his family's roots in the district run deep. Jordan stepped up to serve because he wants to do everything he can to ensure LCS remains one of the top school districts in the state. Every decision he makes is driven by a genuine desire to see our students and community thrive.

  • Representing District C, Jared Slade is a lifelong resident of Lamar County and a proud graduate of Purvis High School and PRCC. He has spent the majority of his career working in the midstream oil industry across the Southeast. Deeply rooted in his faith, Jared is devoted to serving the Lord Jesus Christ, his church, and his community. He and his wife, Katelynn, have two children currently enrolled in Purvis Schools. Joining the school board in January 2026, Jared is driven by the belief that knowledge is a lifelong power. As he puts it: “Let’s ensure LCS students have every opportunity to grow, achieve, and lead—because they are the future of our community, state, and nation.”

  • Lance LeFan has served on the Lamar County School Board for nearly four years, proudly representing District D. As the father of twins who have attended Oak Grove schools since kindergarten and are set to graduate this May, his connection to the district is deeply personal. Lance is incredibly excited about the new schools currently under construction and fully supports the forward-thinking vision that Dr. Quick and the Central Office staff have for the future of LCS.

  • Jennie Hensarling has been a proud Lamar County resident for 16 years and a dedicated School Board member since January 2021! With a husband and twins who graduated from Sumrall High School—and a daughter currently at Sumrall Middle—her commitment to our district is truly a family affair. Jennie’s vision for Lamar County Schools focuses on sustaining high-quality education, supporting our incredible families, and providing safe campuses. She believes in cultivating high expectations so every single student is prepared to thrive!
